Brief Description: This project makes the 37208 community safer by ridding it of things (trash) that attract criminality. We also add value to the community by keeping it clean which can help increase property value and help with positive mental health.

Brief Description: We were able to serve 81 mothers and their families with life saving information on how to have a healthy pregnancy. We were also able to distribute over $70,000 worth of car seats, pack n plays, cribs for safe sleep, diapers, BP cuffs. We also collated community resources from over 40 community organizations that we are in the process of making available on a webpage. We distributed souvenir booklets with the village resources.

Brief Description: This project influences safe learning environments inside MNPS. Non-verbal autistic students often distract traditional students from daily learning. This cycle has an overall negative impact on the entire class including the educator. Before this grant we were unable to afford a facility for summer programs. This grant helped us positively impact 110 students and 25 staff members June-July 2024. Also, we were unable to afford and provide resources for Autistic/Gifted students. This summer we were able to accommodate students with no additional cost for parents.

Brief Description: This project served formerly incarcerated women. Provided job readiness skills, job training and job placement. Through a five week job readiness program, the students were trained on various floor machines, floor care and product safety.

Brief Description: Personal interest in Changing Character are building, equipping, and cultivating young people to become their best individually, in families, and the community. We focus on Mentoring and a 12 point Life Skills/Leadership Development Program. Brief Description: We successfully completed the cultural crawl with nearly 30 activations, spanning large swaths of the North Nashville area. We activated local businesses, brands and organizations through community and creativity. Our goals have only expanded to include a budget to pay our new, part-time executive director. We are hoping to soon have the budget to pay a full-time staff in the near future.

Brief Description: The Drip Drive Back to School Bash was truly an unforgettable event! The biggest change that we were fortunate enough to have made since the beginning of this grant was being able to provide for multiple schools at one time by having a community-based event rather than only being able to provide our resources for one school. Furthermore, we were able to include barbers and braiders for the children to help enhance their confidence entering the year!

Brief Description: We accomplished the goals and added during the Summer Camp our Youth Entrepreneurship program where the students in the camp ran a restaurant in July to raise funds for part of their back to school items. They got to really experience having a business.

Brief Description: The Soil Soldiers program is designed to provide justice-impacted youth and underserved communities with opportunities for skill development, job readiness training, and leadership development through engaging activities such as soil testing and tree planting in underserved communities in North Nashville. Using the data collected in the GLOBE Soil (Pedosphere) Investigation, students help scientists describe soils and understand how they function. By offering hands-on experience in environmental conservation and green career opportunities, this program seeks to empower participants and increase their knowledge and awareness of sustainability practices.

Brief Description: Our high school audio production and songwriting summer camp is a masterclass/ training program in what makes Nashville Music City. Songwriting and Recording Artists. Students from the 37208 community get a chance to collaborate and learn how to make records at the grass roots level in one of the famous recording studios on music row where the biggest names in music come to work.

Brief Description: We hosted a Pass the Beauty Inc. hosted a Meet and Greet for the Beauty and Wellness Mental Health Program, bringing together 28 women to discuss domestic violence and mental health awareness. Featuring insights from Judge Allegra Walker, interactive sessions with therapist Tonia Dixon, and personal testimony from founder Cintoria Franklin, the event fostered community connections, provided valuable resources, and inspired participants to enroll in ongoing support programs.
-Our Holiday Event brought Christmas gifts to 245 families and brought smiles to the faces of 450 children, distributing toys and bikes to brighten their holiday season. In addition to the toy giveaway, attendees were treated to a warm meal, served with love and care, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection.

For school year 24-25 our organization would like to gift a deserving graduating senior or seniors from Pearl-Cohn High School which is located in 37208 that will be enrolling in either Tennessee State University, Fisk University or Meharry Medical College.
